  • New Corner Shield Attacking Technique
By Cadelaf on August 9th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Today I found this really interesting and useful technique that I could have used in many situations in which that when someone is shielding in the corner and you do a dash attack, they fall down, after you do the attack you’ll fall off the stage letting you do an attack inmediatly.

For a better explanation, or for knowing how to apply this technique, check out this short video covering the way to do it and covering the ways in which you can apply this.

  • Diddy Kong Choke Chaingrab
By Cadelaf on July 26th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

As time passes, more experienced players learn new techniques and this is one of those. This is an ingenious trick that allows Diddy Kong to do a chain grab plus making the opponent fall down while doing the chain grab.  Also I included a video of an amazing Diddy Kong player that I have never seen any other Diddy Kong as good as him.

  • Metaknight’s Infinite Cape
By Cadelaf on July 15th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Hello everyone, take a look at this new discovered technique in which implies Metaknight.  As you know Metaknight has his Down B attack in which he  goes invisible for some instances and then he  either gets up to recover from under the platform or to attack the enemy.

It seems that this movement was cracked into performing an infinite loop and making Metaknight look like he was invisible all the time. It can be used probably as a mindgame or to amaze the opponent, other than that I haven’t seen any interesting use for it.

  • Wave Pivot New Technique
By Cadelaf on June 15th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Some time ago, I posted of a different technique involving pivot, this is a variant of different pivot techniques, anyways how to do it?

According to VGamerJoe: “You start a dash and then turn around and continue holding the direction. Then, you let go right before your second dash in that direction would begin. Your momentum will carry you and you should slide in that direction. Furthermore, the closest frame you can get to the second dash, the farther you slide. You can input any command and it will execute it right when you finish sliding. The following is a list of every character and if they’re capable or not.”

    New technique dicovered, ledgedashattack

    Earthbound360 Profesional Brawl Player:
“This can be used to do a dash attack right on the edge. People with long rangedd dash attacks like Ness might be able to use this. You can even do multiple dashes at the edge meaning multiple dash attacks in rapid succession.

You can even just tap forward VERY quickly, but that’s the problem with it. You have to press it VERY quickly. Diagonally downards is much easier.”

By Cadelaf on June 4th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Hello Guys, Today I am gonna show you a useful advanced technique for all of you who want to become competitive or who are interested in newer tricks, this technique can require some timing and effort into making it effective on your gameplay. What you do is :

    1) Jump (full or short)
    2) Use your second jump
    3) Perform an aerial attack ( Any attack with A button in the air)
    4) Time the aerial so that you land on the ground as the move finishes (similar to autocanceling?)
    5) Try a jump just before you land on the ground.
    6) You should jump up into the air.
    7) Re-do steps until you want.

This is improving Brawl a lot by making this game more competitive that it seemed to be. • New discovered technique: Pivot WaveGrabbing
By Cadelaf on April 9th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

You thought wavedash was removed? This new technique kinda replaces the wavedash with a new way to grab enemies. It is a new way of Pivot Grabbing, but what is pivot grabbing, some of you may ask? According to Smashbros.com “While dashing, press the direction opposite your current heading while performing a grab. You’ll get more range out of this kind of grab, so try pulling a 180 and scooping up your unsuspecting opponent with it.” It makes you get something like this:

You can grab from that far

But how is pivot wavegrabbing different? Here is how you do it

  • DeeDee User claims new Advanced Technique: Goon Farming
By Cadelaf on March 29th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Thedcninja claims a new technique on Brawl with DeeDee that it makes it that you get the Dragoon Parts whenever you hit the enemy with side B attack while holding another button, you would release the enemy with Dragoon Parts, and which you will be able to get them even if you had items turned Off. This can be possible because on Melee you could take out bombs and swords randomly with Down B of Peach. They claim that there is a mysterious code in DeeDee that they found out with action replay. Truth or No, This is a most watch.
