Today, I am going to cover a topic of interest to many smash players around, and is the “which type of character do you use?”.  On This post, I will try to cover some of the different type of players I have met, and the different ways in which those players choose their characters, some of the players out there choose their mains based on all-time favorite characters, top tiers, or some even brag by using bad characters, let’s take a look here.

Hello Smashgamers, today I am gonna show you a chart created by Ivaneva in which he shows which characters are good against which ones, and advantages and disadvantages too.

Toon Link is one of my best characters and today I’m gonna do a tribute to him. Why is Toon Link a good character? He is like a Link but with all his attacks Lag Canceled this means he attack much faster than normal Link. With Toon Link it is really easy to make combos and he has a lot of recovery. I’m gonna show you some videos of Toon Link with some combos and some advanced techniques if you are interested in using this awesome character, these videos are really useful:

Bow Cancel (Makes the B neutral attack faster) :

Mechageo made an experiment to see the character speeds, he did some experiments on stages considering blocks of the stage as meters, and started to record character speed and distance taking to reach the end of stage.  Here goes the chart:

Kirby’s Star Shot (B attack), is an attack that does damage depending on the weight of the enemy. Doing this you can determine the weight of Brawl Characters, a recompilation list of weights of enemies is right here.

The percent is the damage that the attack does on those kind of characters:

Look from 1:58 - 2:24 you can see Pokemon Trainer on a mountain and in like 7 seconds he managed to reach city. He is for sure faster than Sonic. We are talking about Pokemon Trainer Guy not hisPokemón. Notice this is just a joke video for fun, it’s nothing serious, we’re just mentioning how Pokemon Trainer manages to appear in really far away places in some stages.
