    Another effort for Nintendo to stop homebrewing,  the release of the updated Wii Menu 3.4 will now check automatically for suspicious save files such as the twilight hack and remove them.

    For how long will this ruin the homebrewers fun? Time will tell.

In which you interact with the world in social simulation with ability to play with your friends by the new technology from Nintendo; Wii Speak.

    You can also transfer characters from the DS Animal Crossing to City Folk in an easy way and also have fun with other 3 friends interacting on your town with the Wi-Fi Feature.

    Also it features extensive use of the WiiConnect24 for allowing friends to send you messages or visit your town when you are away.

    During the BMO Capital Markets Interactive Entertainment Conference, Reggie Fils-Aime was talking about how Nintendo was having success despite the global economical crisis and also was asked about any holiday price cuts, his interview questions:

    Now that Microsoft just cut prices on the Xbox, you are the only console maker to not cut prices. Will you?

    The consumer is voting with their wallet and their pocketbooks that the Wii and the DS represent fantastic values. So far this year, month in and month out, the Wii and DS have been number one and number two selling systems for the month. That suggest our value equation is finely tuned at this point.

    Club Nintendo of USA is going to offer later this year a reward system in which you register your game on the Nintendo Website and special points will be added to your account.

    You can also do surveys and reviews for points, in exchange, you can use the points for exclusive Nintendo merchandise, this system will be implemented for market research and to learn the habits of the Nintendo gamers for better quality games and for rewarding Nintendo users.

    United Kingdom has a similar system that has been active for months/years.

    Hori: the new third party Wii Controller features a different way of placing the buttons with lots of buttons on the center it will be focused more for SNES and Gamecube games.   If it will be considered as a Gamecube Controller or a Classic Controller is yet unknown.

    Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed during a recent interview about the plans for Wii and the future of technologies, when asked about the rumor of the Wii HD he said:

    “…I’m afraid we cannot confirm what we are doing today. But the fact of the matter is that technology is evolving all the time and in Japan, for example…All the analog broadcast will be stopped and shifted into the digital broadcasting. So many things are taking place and we are working in terms of the changes of the technologies all the time.”
