Since yesterday, we got the news from the Nintendo DSi on Japan this November, but now we have more information on the Nintendo Dsi at North America.
G4 covered a video of about 10 minutes in which Dan Hsu was interviewing Reggie for the upcoming Nintendo DSi, in which he explains that the Nintendo DSi isn’t coming this holiday seasons and that it will be on later on after April, 2009. The reason must be because the huge ratio of sells compared to their competitor Playstation with their PSP.
He mentions information on the DS Shop and some aspects that need to take into consideration for the North America Market.
Reggie says:
“We believe that as we continue to drive sales for DS hardware in total, the biggest opportunity’s going to be on packaged software. Down the road, with the DSi Shop and downloadable software, certainly will be a growing opportunity and something developers are excited about, but it really is much longer down the road.”
